Designer Jen Chapin shares a fun Halloween tag project with our readers today. Learn her tips and tricks for creating this project!

I had so much fun creating these tags with the “All Hallows Eve” collection! I started out by using my die cut machine to cut two tag shapes and a star. For the star tag, I matted my patterned paper on black cardstock and trimmed around the edges, then used my sewing machine along with some black thread to create more texture. I love adding clusters of embellishments: chipboard, rhinestones, washi tape, stick pins, etc. to create vignettes on my projects.

I used similar techniques with the other two tags, adding stitching, chipboard, brads, washi tape and more stickers to create the look I wanted. These tags will be perfect to add to a bag of Halloween cookies! I just love the vintage colors and patterns in this collection.

Supplies:

All Hallows Eve collection pack, chipboard, brads and 6×6 paper pad

Extras: flair, washi  tape, rhinestones, stick pins, mini clothespin and ribbon

We’d love to see what you create using Jen’s tutorial. Simply upload your completed project on our Facebook page HERE to share your work with our amazing online community!
